Venues and Distros!

In the 717 we have only two venues that host hardcore punk shows and a few distros that sell merchandise for this kind of scene! I will first start by discribing our venues that are host to our many hardcore punk shows!

The Chameleon Club which is located at 223 N. Water St. in Lancaster has hosted some of the 717 scene's best shows! For example on August 11 they had Reach the Sky, Ignite and The Misfits! Great show huh? Also for another example Oct 10. They are hosting A New Found Glory and Fenix TX!!!! I hope to see y'all there! It will be kick ass! Overall this club is great! They have a pretty big stage, a nice dance floor for all you people who like to mosh, they also have areas to sit for those who don;t like to dance!

Yip Rock is not only a venue it is a Music distro selling everything from classical stuff like Bach to easy jazz from Duke Ellington the loud sounds of hardcore. It is located at 320 N. Queen St in Lancaster! Even though this joint is small it has housed a lot of great bands.. For instance Anthrophobia, E-town Concrete, Next Of Kin, our very own Code AMX! I personally like this venue cause they seem to have a lot of great bands there and there is enought room to dance! The rumor is ITS BACK! Thanks for supporting them through all that shit!

Mulberry Art Studio this is a wonderful place! Located in Lancaster on Mullberry St. it has a great location! The people who own this place rock and deserve mad props! Because this is not a club or bar. Its an artistic studio/museum. They are very wonderful people for allowing us to use it, so please take care of it or we may loose it!

Club Berzerkers is not really a club! Its someones garage with a one foot stage and a kick ass PA system! Its all you need to have a killer hardcore show! Sorry for no address to refer to for directions!

Angry Young & Poor is located in Lancaster on Prince St. It is a great distro selling everything to help you fit into the Hardcore, Punk, or sXe scenes.. They have t-shirts, hoodies, patches, stickers, cds and more! You need it they prolly have it! They even sell concert tickets!!

Corrupted Image Records is located at 739 Manor St in Lancaster.. This place is kick ass! The people here are mad cool.. They almost go out of their way to help you! They too have it all! Cds, shirts, patches, stickers, etc.! But over all they are the people who book most of the shows around here! So if your in a band and want a show send a demo tape and lyrics to them and they will hook you up prolly!
