Last Man Laughing Helps
Out The Scene
When people think of the Hardcore Punk scene, they think of bad, drug using people! However that is not the case with Matt Papich lead singer of Last Man Laughing. He is there to have a good time and inform others by booking shows in our area!
Since Matt has formed the band Last Man Laughing in April, of 1999 they have played close to thirty shows, with a wide variety of bands. All of the lyrics you hear are original. Matt writes them himself by using his beliefs, like being straight edge and what he has learned!
The band was originally formed in Matts seventh year of school! He said, "Basically me and my friends went to the music shop, got some guitars and drums and taught ourselves!" Since then they have come to be Last Man Standing, but their intials would have been L.M.S and there was already and cover band name Last Man Standing and there was a school with the intials L.M.S. So they agreed to change it to Last Man Laughing.
Towards the end of this interview I asked him about his views on racism and this is the response I got, " I totally hate it! Especially when kids are racist and how they blame it on there parents."
Some of his future plans are that he wasnts to attend Lancaster School of Arts so he can major in it. He also hopes that Last Man Laughing prospers more!
